"Unknown sadness"

Moonlight dancing on the waves,
Converted everything into silver,
Heart is missin' someone,
But don't know who it is?

A tear dropped on my knees,
The moon giggled with please;
The cold waves whisperred ;
dry leaves gastured;

brought a slight smile,
with moist eyes,
and palpitating heart;
feeling something but
don't know what it is?

Life is blessed with,
the simple pleasures,
happy for a while,
but the very next moment;
Heart is sad again..

In times of distress the mind churns good memories to make you feel good. The faint smile that appeared on your face was the mind trying to show you that your life has sweet memories as well and that you need to cheer up. But then the practical mind is always shoving you forward into the present showing you how grim the situation is and that is the cause for the heart to cry again.

A very nice poem. The solitude is explained nicely.

P.S.: In the third stanza, third line, did you mean "palpitating"?

Hey Shriti..

Nice work..

On the other hand am just wondering these are just your creations...and not current emotions..

Coz if it is your state of mind..thn I would be worried..
